The Rota Vicentina is a long-distance walking trail through the beautiful scenery of Portugal’s southwest coast. The route consists of 350km of well-designated rural and coastal paths which treat walkers to the very best of this carefully preserved region, both environmentally and culturally.
Comprised of two distinct routes, the Historical Way and the Fishermen’s Trail, the Rota Vicentina proposes a unique experience of these two distinctive worlds; the authentic, living culture of rural Alentejo, and the awe-inspiring, wild coastline of Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.
A guided tour takes approx. 3 hours or alternatively up to 6-7 hours.
